Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus and to help them grow in their Faith. We accomplish our mission using the 4 C’s of Young Life
Contact Work
Because kids don’t care how much you know till they know how much you care, Young Life leaders show they care by going where kids are, meeting them as they are, believing in who they can be. Within Young Life we call the persistent going out into the world of kids “contact work,” but kids just call it “friendship”. When you see a Young Life leader at a sporting event or at a performance or just hanging out with a kid you are seeing “contact work”.

Club
What is it about Young Life club that makes it the best night of the week for thousands of kids every week? We like to think of it as a party with a purpose. Club is our biggest weekly event and every kid is welcome. We have awesome music, play games, laugh, and hang out with our friends. It’s controlled chaos that’s almost impossible to describe, but kids know it when they see it. And before the party ends, we share a clear message about God’s love for them. After all, that’s what the celebration is all about. Monday Nights are Young Life Club Nights. We generally meet at 7:27pm but it sometimes varies. Check the calendar or follow us on Instagram @bluespringsyl for the most up to date info.
Campaigners
An important part of the Young Life mission is to help kids grow in their faith. Campaigner small groups are for kids who wish to grow in their faith through bible study, service and leadership. These groups are led by our Young Life volunteer leaders who have built friendships and earned the right to be heard. With their leaders we also encourage these kids to celebrate their faith through participation in a local congregation. These groups meet at various times and locations. Contact us at brad@bluesprings.younglife.org for details.

Camp
Kids consistently tell us that Young Life camp is the best week of their lives. That’s a rousing (and unsolicited) endorsement! But how else would you describe a week where deep relationships are forged in the midst of mind-boggling fun as you experience and listen to what we believe is the greatest love story ever told in a breathtaking environment. Young Life Blue Springs takes groups of kids camping for a week each summer and for weekends during the school year.
In addition to the 4 C’s Young Life in Blue Springs offers the following programs. Please check the calendar for dates and details about these additional events or follow us @bluespringsyl on Instagram.
Over the Table
About once a month during the school season we get together with our friends for a good meal, fellowship and of course lots of fun and laughter. There is a seat at the table for every kid and there is something about sharing a meal together that builds community and opens the door to the Gospel message.

Blue Springs High School Wildcat Hour
YL “Ignite” Club is a monthly event held at Blue Springs High School during wildcat hour. Working with our friends and partners at FCA we play some awesome music, play crazy games, laugh, and hang out with students in the PAC at the high school. Before it’s over students hear a message from the Bible in terms they can understand. YL “Ignite” club is for everyone, no matter where they stand in their faith.
Ignite
Ignite KC is Jackson County’s biggest Party with a Purpose! Since our first big IGNITE event in early 2018 we have reached over 3000 students with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
See IgniteKC.org for more information.
